What Kind of Homeschool is Accidental Homeschooler?

Accidental Homeschooler is an eclectic homeschool and co-op that uses a Charlotte Mason-inspired curriculum. We focus on living books, habit training, nature study, the arts, and, short, focused lessons—while blending in modern tools and enrichment opportunities.

Is Accidental Homeschooler a full-time school?

No. Accidental Homeschooler is a parent-led homeschool program. Families are fully in charge of their child’s education. We provide curriculum guidance, structure, community support, and optional co-op classes, but you remain the primary teacher.

Our co-op is a community of homeschooling families that meets once a week for enrichment activities, hands on projects, nature walks, group discussions, and the arts. Parents contribute by helping lead activities, supervising, or organizing.

• Co-op day: Friday( group classes and enrichment, optional but encouraged)

We follow a traditional academic calendar (September-June) with breaks and holidays aligned with local norms.

We welcome grades Kindergarten through 8th grade. High school offerings may be available in the future as our community grows.
