The Accidental Homeschooler

Rooted in Tradition. Tailored for Today.

Who We Are

Accidental Homeschooler is more than a homeschool— it’s a vibrant, supportive co-op community designed for families who seek a deeper, richer approach to education. Founded on the principles of Charlotte Mason, our co-op blends classical inspiration with practical flexibility, offering families a well-rounded, life enriching learning experience.

We serve both full time homeschoolers and part time co-op participants, welcoming students of all ages and stages.

Our Approach

We believe that education is a journey, not a checklist. Our eclectic curriculum centers on:

Living Books that awaken the imagination and connects students with great ideas
• Nature Study & Outdoor Time that cultivate attention, reverence, and observation
• Fine Arts & Handicrafts that enrich the mind and trains the hands
• Habit Training that fosters responsibility and self-mastery
• Technology Integration that supports learning without distraction

With Google Workspace for Education and Google Classroom, we stay organized, collaborative, and connected—whether at home or in our weekly co-op sessions.

Our Community

We believe parents are the primary educators, and Accidental Homeschooler exists to walk alongside them. Through our co-op, families participate in:

• Shared Teaching responsibilities
• Weekly gatherings for group lessons and enrichment
• Parent support sessions and educational mentoring
• Service projects and community-building events

We’re not just schooling together— we’re growing together.
